This was the first MAC lip product I bought and now I'm scared to go and buy another! The color is REALLY great, I definitely love it! But the texture on my lips was gross. It felt really sticky. I'll wear it until I run out, but for $14, I don't think I'll buy a lustreglass again. :(
This color is the exact same shade of Oh Baby to me. The glitter is replaced with shimmer and it is GREAT! This is a plushglass so there is a little tingle. I have never had a plushglass, and when I put it on I was not aware of the effects. The color can be described as bronze with gold pearl
Oh Baby was my first MAC product. One of my Sorority Sisters turned me on to it 10 years ago. Eyiiip! My issues with Oh Baby is the glitter is a lil too chunky which is fine but when the lip gloss is all faded away you can still see some glitter and it just looks so juvenile. But this is still a staple of mine I just try not to ever let it fade away. I try to have a backup at all times.
Pros:Great neutral color, very flattering shade no matter what colors you wear. Cons:Chunky glitter
When i'm in the mood to look like a barbie doll, this is the lip gloss. I feel like the only black barbie. Dark eye liner and pink lips. this makes my lip peel at the end of the day but it's a once in a blue thing. so
Pros:cute girl-barbie doll look. Color is visible Cons:peelling lip at the end of the day on occassion
Underage is a very light milky pink. It's perfect for toning down my natural lip color. It's gorgeous with smoky eyes. If applied heavily it may end up looking too milky though. It's the perfect baby pink in my eyes, and I will continue repurchasing this.
Pros:Sexy baby pink perfect for smoky eyes Cons:Goopy/milky looking if overapplied
Viva Glam V is a little darker than a MLBB color, but it is lovely. It's a very pretty pinky brown that looks good with practically any kind of eye makeup. It is great pigment-wise so the color you see in the tube is what you'll get when you put it on. I'd definitely repurchase.
Poco Pink looked lovely when I saw it in the tube, and I don't really dislike it...it's just far from being a favorite. While it looks pinky gold, I only saw gold when I put it on. It was soft enough that it still looked alright, but I was hoping for more pink to show up. The laquers don't last as long as the lipglasses on me. I wouldn't repurchase this, but I'll continue using this because I like using it over my pink lipsticks to warm up the color.
Pros:A lot of product for about 3 dollars more than lipglasses Cons:More gold than pinky gold on me...staying power not as good as w/ lipglass
Nymphette is a beautiful sheer pink w/ gold shimmer. It is a gorgeous MLBB shade, It seems to look great no matter what colors I use for the rest of my makeup.
Oh Baby is a shimmery caramely-bronze color. I'm quite fond of the color, but I only use it when I am at my most tan during the summer. It looks too 90's brown on me during the winter when I'm much paler. I gave it a 4 because as I said it is gorgeous with a tan, but I'm not sure if I'd repurchase because it will definitely last me a while.
Pros:Beautiful during the summer...long lasting like other MAC lipglasses Cons:Looks dated when I'm not very tan
I wasn't crazy about this when I saw it in the tube, but I now use this all the time. It looks like a pale lavender/pink with gold iridescence. It comes in handy when I want to soften the color of my lipstick. I also use it on it's own to tone down my pigmented lips and it does a beautiful job. I gave it a 4 just because I don't find it absolutely amazing or something I couldn't do without, but it is lovely nonetheless.
Pros:Tones down pigmented lips without making you look corpse-like Cons:No complaints from me!
This is my first Tendertone purchase and I love it! The color in the jar is like a bright coral/pink and it smells so good. I applied it to my lips and i loved the consistency of the product. I think the intro to the product on MAC's website is dead on.
**Sexier on the lips than balm. Silkier than gloss. More protective than
naked. A lipcolour that combines soft shine, easy glide, and
double-smooth satin finish with an everyday sun protective formula. To
treat your lips...Love 'em tender.
I will def. be buying at least one more Tendertone!
Pros:Feels awesome on your lips
SPF
Gives an awesome tint and glow to your lips
Smells delish!
Handy re-usable glass jar Cons:A little pricey
This is more of a lipbalm than lipgloss because it's really conditioning but it gives a really nice shine to it too. It smells like strawberry daiquiris and lasts awhile. The colour is sheer and looks like underage lipglass but is definitely shinier. It doesn't change my lipcolour too much if I apply it after lipstick.
This is a shimmery lipgloss that was LE but now is becoming permanent. It's almost clear with blue shimmer in it and works well with other cool lip colours. It's really shiney and somewhat shimmery but it's not too noticable until the gloss wears off. The sparkle stays on and looks bad after it's worn off. Also, the packaging is deceiving because it looks bigger than lipglass but there is less product and it's more expensive than regular lipglass.
Kinda green tinge, not obvious green lipglass, that normal vanilla scent that is associated with lipglasses is there, I dont recommend for an everyday color
This is probably my most worn Lipglass. It has more pigment than C-Thru, and I love that it has some gold shimmer to it, and is warm enough to not look like dead lips. No glitter in this one, just shimmer.
I will definitely repurchase when I run out. Glad that it is a permanent shade. :)
MAC NW20, pale olive skin, brown hair and eyes, oily.
This is a medium, nudey mocha brown color that I am in LOVE with. Its great because it is not a typical pale nude, but still looks natural and pretty. Its slightly darker than what is shown in the picture.
