I am absolutely IN LOVE with Lumiere's Cashmere foundation.
The
colors I use are Medium Golden and Medium Warm (I think both seem to
match me very well). I have oily/combo skin and I'm sometimes
acne-prone. Cashmere just looks so natural (which I prefer over the
"made-up" look). It's $18 for a full size container of the foundation,
but for me it's worth it. The stuff I've previously used kind of
floated on top of the oil my skin would produce around mid-day. It was
disgusting. This foundation actually "melts", in a good way, into my
skin! Almost like my own skin but better. It's lightweight and feels
very nice on my skin. When I touch my face, it feels nice and soft.
For
those who have oily skin but want that "perfect" matte look, this might
not be so great for you. The cashmere foundation's oil absorbency level
isn't the best. I don't mind because I don't like a matte finish. I
mean, I guess I could dust on another layer of finishing powder but I'm
way to lazy. A blot or two will do it.
Also, those who want that
complete flawless look, this foundation might not be right for you. It
has a light to medium coverage. Those who want heavier coverage might
want to opt for something like Monave or something (but I'm not sure if
those give that complete natural finish).
For me, this stuff is a
miracle. I would definitely recommend that everyone should try Lumiere
Cashmere foundation. Lumiere also offers a sample kit for $6 (no
shipping for U.S. residents). You get four foundations, one blush and
one finishing powder of your choice. Definitely worth it!
