I really wanted to like this product. I had really high hopes. I did like the feel and texture. It's very soft but the coverage is very sheer, I couldn't seem to build it and it didn't seem to last long. I may try this company again since it was one of my first ventures into MMU and I didn't have my application down yet. I really liked their bronzer and blushes. Nice quality. UPDATE: Ok so I did go back and buy more samples and with the correct brush (a more dense flat top kabuki, or their foundation brush) this went on smooth and fabulous. It lasted all day with minimal shine. It helps when you have the right shade which their MUA is very very helpful and nice to give suggestions for whatever you are looking for. I will be purchasing a full size.

Pros: lots of colors to choose from, smooth and creamy texture
Cons:

Like many of the other posters here I had itching after using Bare Escentuals.  I didn't have issues with it not looking right-- it covered just fine, blended well, and I was pleased because I HATE heavy foundation-- but not long after applying it it felt like I had poison ivy.
Fortunately it didn't look that way, but there's no reason to suffer to look good!  Was disappointed because I am trying to green up my makeup collection. I won't use it again.

Pros: Looked fine, blended well
Cons: Made me as itchy as a flea with a rash in a wool sweater

This foundation leaves a very obvious shine to the face, enhances big or small fine lines and wrinkles on the face instead of hiding them, and it itches on the face after long wear.

I don't know whose face could actually benefit from this stuff as it has simply isn't a great base makeup product at all. And, even though it claims to be made from all natural minerals from the earth and considered good for sensitive skin. There are unfortunately alot of womens skins that cannot handle bismuth oxychloride touching coming in contact with their skin.

Pros: It claims to be all natural
Cons: It has bismuth oxychloride in it which is a known skin sensitizer; it has no oil-control properties to it at all; it is very shiny; and it creases on the face.

I bought this a little while ago in its lightest shade, "Nude Buff".  It was my second experience with mineral foundation, only this time in compact form which is a lot easier to use and store than regular IMO.  The compact is a reasonable size, with a separate section that has a powder puff and a mirror.  I apply this with a kabuki brush, but I have used the puff and it isn't bad to apply that way either.  Since it is mineral foundation, therefore a powder, if you have dry patches it might accentuate them a little bit.

Overall, this product covered any redness or acne I have very well, and the lightest shade perfectly matched my skin tone.  I got a tan recently and bought "True Beige" so that I could keep using Milani Minerals.  It didn't break out my skin at all and didn't seem to clog pores or cause any other problems.

Will definitely be rebuying, seeing as I've already bought two!  Love it.

Pros: Convenient packaging, not too expensive... matched my skin tone effortlessly. Applies light and covers well.
Cons: I can't really think of any.

i bought this on a whim....i have a few different brands of mineral makeup, but i never use them because im messy with all the loose powder.....i was afraid this product from milani would make me break out, but i've been using it for two weeks and it really is excellent, it has buildable coverage enough to cover redness and spots......i've used it as a setting powder over other foundation but i wear it to go to the gym so i dont look SO horrible!! it wears very well

Pros: cheap, (i bought it at CVS bogo),good coverage, doesnt make me breakout
Cons: none

I absolutely love this product. This is my daily use foundation which provides the right amount of coverage and evens out my skin tone while looking completely natural at the same time. A little goes a long way buffed in with a sable or squirrel kabuki brush. It never feels heavy or cakey and feels as if you're not wearing any foundation at all. Super great product at a super great price.

This product provides great coverage and a great finish.

It made me breakout the first couple times that I tried it, but then I was fine once my skin got used to it. :)

I prefer to apply it using a kabuki brush instead of the puff that it comes with. There are only a few shade options available, so shades may not match everyone.
Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup

Pros: Good coverage, nice finish.
Cons: Limited color range, puff is useless.

This foundation is thick, cakey and heavy feeling and does not wear well during the day. It also felt like it was drying out my skin and I have very oily skin. There are far better Mineral makeups out there than this one.

Pros: I was able to find a color match
Cons: see review

I really like this foundation, it covers very well. I have dry skin and Redness from Rosacea. When I use the foundation you can't even see the redness in my face. Even when your not wearing it your skin feels very smooth!! I use concealer under mine, but there's really no need to. My skin has a natural glow to it when wearing the foundation. My color is Radiant and it's a very good match, they suggest this as one color to cover redness. I will be buying this again and again!! For anyone who has Redness or Rosacea I would suggest it! You really need the Handi Brush to Apply it.

Pros: Covers well, Smooth skin
Cons: Price, hard to find

I ordered my LaurEss samples and they just came today. Let me tell you, they are amazing! They are pretty pricey, but you get what you pay for. Flawless, natural, non-chalky coverage. I'm a dark skinned african american (think Kelly Rowland) and they had my shade (a lot of mineral m/u companies seem to have a hard time doing that) It wasn't gray or extremely red, it was a perfect brown. My mom who swore she was not going to buy me anymore makeup said "I'm going to have to buy you that tomorrow!" I looked amazing and I feel amazing knowing that my skin is being pampered at the same time.
Ladies, if you want nice natural coverage and a variety of shades to chose from, get LaurEss!
PS. Don't forget to check out their eye shadows, they're gorgeous!

Pros: Beautiful "I can't believe it's not natural" skin
Cons: The price

I love how this powder works. You can put some on before foundation and when you are done with your face for a nice set. I have even heard that dusting some on eyelashes will make mascara stick better. I have not noticed really. The main ingredient in this powder is corn starch. Maybe Argo would work just as well I wonder..........hmm.

Pros: Great for oil spots
Cons: is this Argo corn starch???????????

I have been using this for a while and love the feeling on my skin, the makeup covers up quite well. I normally tend to have very fair nice looking skin, unfortunately not too long ago I got chicken pox (at 22 years old!) having taken a couple of weeks off work to heal my severe chicken pox I eventually had to return, this makeup did a great job at covering the redness. I would recomend that one use moisturizer before application, let it soak in and then apply the minerals, little by little, otherwise you might put on too much, which will make your pores look huge.

I like this but I don't love it. It settles in my fine lines around my eyes and the colours are very unforgiving. I also find the amount of "buffing" required irritates my skin?! Its ok, the finish is quite nice as it isn't "flat" and has a slight sheen. I do really like their other products though, I have a great lipstick and gloss, somelovely eyeshadows and have ordered a blush. Their brushes are excellent too!

Pros: Good coverage, nice sheen, the line carries other prducts that are exceptional
Cons: Messy, unforgiving

Way better than BE foundation; Igot two colors and two formulas to be perfect for me, intensive and org glo.By mixing the colorsi canmatch my skin perfectly.I am so amazed at how quick i can get perfectcoverage, i really don't even need to build the foundation, just one sweep and flawless! It also stays all day, does not settle into my fine lines, and if i have a big blemish, i can, spot cover with a concealer brush and since all the same color it just disappears! Although i have spots of dry skin it does not "highlight" them, I have been using it for a week now and it does not make me break out. Add in the reasonable price and good customer service and it is HG for me. The samples make it less scarey to buy without trying, i def rcmnd.

Pros: coverage, colors, price, good cust services
Cons: i have not found any

I sent for samples from EDM and I must say I am impressed!  I have previously used BE and I really disliked all of the foundations I tried.  EDM  in original glo seems to provide greater coverage without looking fake or clinging to the littles crinkles around my eyes.  I can't believe the size of the samples...very generous.  This is the first makeup I am truly happy with.

Pros: Good coverage Great color choices Very generous samples
Cons: I can't think of any right now.

In all fairness this product was "the foundation" that got me through a difficult time. About over a year and a half ago I suffered a betrayal of the skin, and everything, especially foundationscaused my skin to break out.For the first time in about 25 years of wearing every and any makeup under the sun of every and any quality I was scrambling to find a new line and tried this. No breakouts at all! Good. But not so fast. This didn't come with a price. The price was not so much the cost but the price of itching like I had Chicken Pox whenever I'd get slightly heated or flustered and sometimes just when...? But, no breakouts. So I was happy with the product because even though at timesit didn't feel good, hey, I was looking good, ya know? Purchased several eyeliner powders and shadows and whatever else even thought about becoming a Bare Minerals type of groupy then one day I just suddenly vacated the foundation and complete line altogether for a smaller line that is far better priced and comes without the itching. Love the mineral makeup thing and love it even more now that I've switched lines and am not itching any longer.

Pros: Looks natural with a proper skin color match and if applied lightly layer by layer
Cons: Causes itchyitis in some users.

Oh how i wanted to like this foundation but unfortunately the colors did not match me at all. im a light/medium skinned black woman with a golden yellow complexion..their medium summer was too red..medium tan intensive was too dark and their medium summer beige too orangy..i heard they have more neutral tones now but i think they need more yellow tones ..the texture was good but the color ...not good at all ..always try samples first..

Pros: easy to apply
Cons: colors didnt match well some colors might look too orange on black skin

If you have even slightly dry or sensitive skin, skip this. Not for those of us with fine lines either. Regardless of what type of moisturizers or primers I used prior to applying this product, it continually accentuated my dry areas & settled into the fine lines around my eyes. Another strike: irritated my skin, causingvery small breakouts.

Additionally, I'd have to agree with the opinion of a few other reviewers as far as final results go. I'd describe the coverage as somewhat "mask-like." Application can be messy too. I'dpass on this altogether; thereare too many great products available to bother with this one.

Pros: None that I experienced
Cons: Too many to list; see review
