I bought this at the suggestion of a Origins rep who works adjacent to my counter. I needed a new exfoliator and wanted something with enzyme in it.
I use it in the shower, to me as a user of exfoliators, it doesn't have enough "beads" that would convince someone it is an exfoliator. But knowing it is combined with Enzymes changed my opinon. It also brightens dull skin as well.
If you are used to an exfoliator that is a little more abrasive, this is not your product.

One of my faves. Skin feels clean, with no tightness. Some people may not like the lack of lather, but this usually indicates a better product anyway. Great for all skin.
I start out each day with this serum and it is the silkiest product I have come across. It contains white tea - which is loaded with powerful anti-oxidents. I agree with one reviewer that it is important to let it fully absorb before applying further moisturizer or foundation. It will start to come off in nasty little balls if you don't! If you use this after the Modern Friction for the face, you will feel the sofeter skin that you probably never thought you could! Get it!!!

A great product. Leaves your skin soft and smooth. After I gave birth to my little girl in October, I was looking for a facial moisturizer to eliminate my dry spots. As I have combination skin, I needed something light and non greasy that would eliminate my flakey and rough dry spots without leaving my oily spots even more oily. This moisturizer balanced both my dry and oily spots and worked for me perfectly!.

I bought this after arriving in LA from London with eyes that literally looked like I'd been punched, aside from bruising. I tried EVERTHING I could get my hands including Prep H and nothing worked. I bought this for when I fly again and I hope it works for me. I have been using it at home (couldn't resist trying it out) and I really like it. Nice and cool, very soothing, totally non oily. I put it on in the morning and leave it until it dries out then I wipe off the residue and put on a moisturising eye cream.

after spending top dollar on an eye cream that was supposed to be great, it was very nice to find a product that works well for me that doesn't break the bank. this product doesn't leave my skin greasy or heavy. it's light enough to wear under my makeup everyday. i can pop it in the fridge for a few minutes and get the most refreshing tingle. so gentle i can use it on the lids as well. definitely my hg eye gel!
Pros:it's a gel so it's not oily or heavy, refreshing, works very quickly to de-puff, can be used on the lids Cons:wish they would have turned the container upside down to get more product out of the tiny bottle.
Oh man... My sensitive skin did not like this stuff. It burned a little when I applied it. It tingled in an unpleasent way why I let it sit on my skin and then was difficult to remove. I constantly noticed stubbon little black smudges when the product had been applied thinly and had over dried. It was a definite pain trying to remove it. In the end, I started using a scrub brush.
I was pretty young when I got this, and when I told the SA how my skin was reacting, she claimed that it was normal and that my skin was adjusting to it. At this point in my life, I would have washed it off at the 1st sting and returned it.
This is a great product for when you have a blemish that unexpectedly shows up. This stuff clears it up quickly. All I do is put a little bit on a q-tip and put it on the effected area.
The main reason why I brought this moisturizer is because my chemical engineering boyfriend reccomended it. If you google white tea, you will find that it has the HIGHEST antioxident out of all the teas. So if you are paranoid about fine lines, this is a definate MUST buy.
it goes on smooth and feels so satiny and NEVER greasy at all! I have oily skin and it doesn't make me breakout or make my face shiney.

Pros:goes on smooth, feels like a primer, never oily, hydrates at the same time. smoothes fine lines. Cons:you have to let it COMPLETELY dry first, before applying makeup or any other product. if you apply another product after applying this, it will start peeling off.
Clear Improvement by Origins contains "charcoal" to help cleanse pores and give the face a cleaner feeling. My sister recommended for me to try it and my first time using the mask stung alot! After the first use though, you can feel the mask working and although the sting is still there, it is not as strong as the first time. The mask gives your face a fresher feeling and you can visibly notice the difference in skin texture and feeling after only the first use! One of the cons with this product is that if you accidentally leave the mask on longer than 10-15 mins, the mask will continue to harden and it will become extremely difficult to talk (not to mention painful). Also for the price you are getting a product that can last up to six months (if used once every week). Other than that minor detail, if used correctly the mask prevents acne ( if thoroughly cleans) and helps to soften the appearance of pores. Overall a definite buy for the face-conscience person.

for one year..what exactly it does..if you have different color of skin types from tan or whatever this friction can manage the skin in one tone and repair them also. after I wash my face leave skin very smooth and fresh. I love this product. I would recommend to those of who have tonning problem for their skin from neck to up. I use product everyother day.
I love this face wash. To mei think it's not pricy at all. I have been using this product for one year. It's very good for oily and combination of pore skin. It remove dirt and pore from the skin and leave with soft smoothness. I recommend this product. Using this product i don't have pimples at all.

This is a charcoal mask from Origins. A friend recommended it to me, and I love it. Makes your skin feel really tight when the mask is on, but once you wash it off, it makes your skin feel SO clean! Love it!
Pros:Takes the oil out of your skin! Cons:Hard to talk on the phone when the mask is on without cracking the mask! HAHA
I used this exfoliator on my face about 2 or 3 times a week, and I really liked it. I have a problem with oily skin, and it worked so well to just wash the oil away. Very easy to use while you are taking a shower.

Origins "Matte Scientist" is a good oil controlling moisturizer for those of us with oily skin. A friend recommended this product to me, and I like it a lot!

I absolutely LOVE and RECOMMEND this product. I had never used an exfoliator that didn't leave my skin red and blotchy after the first few minutes of usage. That is, until I used this product. It left my skin soooooooooo soft, radiant and clean. I told all my friend about it, and now I'm sharing it with all of you. Hands down, this product ROCKS!!

While it's not that minty in scent, this is an excellent oil control cleanser for those plagued with oily skin. The bottle does not have a dispenser, but you can buy a separate pump one for the 6.7 oz. bottle if you want to spend the extra money. Not bad!
