This is not harsh at all or gritty, as are some other microdermabrasion products. The result after use is smooth, vibrant looking skin.

Pros: smooth skin, not harsh or gritty
Cons: no problems

This is just about the best facial cleanser I have ever used!!!  It takes off every single spec of makeup (even MMU) without being too drying and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed.  It also works really well on waterproof eyemakeup.  It also isn't perfumy in scent (which I hate) but it is still really nice.

I love the feel of this light eye cream,it doesnt feel like my skin moisturizer.I dont have dark circles,so there is nothing to report there, but I do notice the minimizing of fine lines around my eye area.I do not have lines in the lip area so this should last a good while.

Pros: No fragrance so no sensitivity issues
Cons: In a tube so you cant see how much you have remaining. The price and travel time to mall.

I am reviewing the formula for dry sensitive skin. While it did not have a bad smell to it,it kinda just sat on my skin,it was too heavy. My face felt and looked as if I had oily skin which I have never had,and it made my pores show! That was a first and I am 43 years old.

Pros: none on this one
Cons: too heavy,made face shine

I was hoping to like this, but I didn't. It didn't seem to be moisturizing enough for my skin which isn't even too dry in the first place. I dislike the unsanitary packaging and would much prefer a pump. All in all, there is no bang for the buck with this one. Will not repurchase.

This product thoroughly cleans off all kinds of makeup, eye/face/waterproof, tones the skin and doesn't make your face feel tight or stripped of it's natural oils afterward. It isn't fragranced, but has lots of natural extracts that make it smell really nice and clean, and it is fairly concentrated so a little goes a long way. Also, it's a great brush cleaner.

Pros: Takes off ALL eye/face/waterproof makeup, concentrates, smells clean
Cons: None

This is the best cleanser I've ever used, & I've been using it for years.  It does cost more than I'd like to pay for a cleanser but it does what I need it to do:  thoroughly clean my face without making it dry & tight -- or cause breakouts, remove eye makeup without stinging/burning my eyes, eliminate need for toner.  All things considered, I guess it is a decent price because I don't need other products.

This moisturizer is amazing, and it works great for most combination skin types, and slightly dry skin types. If the small amount of oil in this formula causes you to break out, you should be using the oil-free Hope in a Bottle with Beta Hydroxy Acid which will benefit your skin type more. The original formula of Hope in a Jar contains lactic acid, a mild Alpha Hydroxy Acid, that gently exfoliates the skin while hydrating it. It also has beta glucan, an oat protein that acts as a preservative for the skin. If you dislike the smell of the cream, that is the culprit, although it makes skin look amazing. This cream is not average, or over-priced at all in my opinion. If you look at the price per ounce it is actually dirt cheap compared to other moisturizers in department stores. I would recommend against buying the giant 8-ounce size for $100+, as most face creams have a two-year shelf life at best once opened, and don't apply it right up to the eye area because it might cause eye irritation from the lactic acid.

Pros: light weight, very inexpensive per ounce compared to other moisturizers, works very well
Cons: texture is unique, might take getting used to

First few days I used this, thought it was wonderful.  Then had a terrible breakout.  Waited a few more months and same deal.  This is a top seller at Sephora so it may work for others but not me!

I was on autoship with the Makeup Optional.  The moisturizer is average at best.  It has no spf and they would not let me swap it out for one that did (I was willing to pay more).

Pros: Didn't break me out
Cons: no spf

I really like this moiturizers. Its very light and seems to make my skin look smoother. Its £35 in the UK(about $65) so I get my friend to send over the 8oz size which works out much better value. One of my faves and a definate re-purchase.

Pros: Non greasy, goes a long way, cute packaging

Purity imo is a good facial cleanser.  It easily removes all traces of cosmetics including all eye make up regardless of what brand and type that I wear.  Another good thing about the product is that it is not drying on the skin.  An additional bonus is I never need to use toner after using this cleanser.

Pros: Removes all traces of makeup easily without drying the skin. Eliminates need for a toner
Cons: None

Hope in a jar.  I really did hope that this 4 piece set advertised as formulated to  create "makeup optional skin" really would come close to providing many or at least some of the on air promises made.  For me it didn't.  What it did do ( primarily this Hope in a jar) was break me out with a facial bump or two regularly each time that I used it.  The cream is rather thick and not especially oily but I noticed no exfoliating going on - which  is supposed to happen gradually thereby leaving you with a clearer more even toned complexion.  Not.  I still have 2  jars and have decided to use them during the winter on the heels of my feet.

Pros: None for me
Cons: Didn't perform as advertised

I use this in the shower! I put a tiny bit on my hands and massage it in. Takes off EVERYTHING without stripping my dry skin, doesn't sting eyes. I love Philosophy products and this is no exception.

Pros: Economical, doesn't sting my eyes, none drying

I would say this is nothing more than an average moisturizer. It is very lightweight,  which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I think it is too light for someone with dry skin or for use in the winter. It does leave my skin soft, but I want a little more out of a moisturizer at this price. For $5 more I can buy Clinique's Superdefense moisturizer which is much better and has an SPF of 25.  I also don't like facial moisturizer with a scent. This has lavender oil which gives is a lavender scent, but it's not even that pleasant. It was more obnoxious. That alone would keep me from buying this product again.

Pros: leaves skin soft, lightweight
Cons: too light for dry skin, obnoxious lavender scent

I'd recommend this and also the on a clear day blemish serum...it was really good at clearing up my face within a few weeks and it wasn't drying at all like most acne medications.

Pros: ^^ for the whole kit. nice packaging, didnt smell bad, gentle yet effective
